Introduction

In recent years the growth of agricultural universities have increased from a few in 1940 to more than 40 in 2004. The number of students enrolled increased from a mere means a thousand to nearly 20 000 between this period. As currently have 260 colleges in India provide education degrees in agriculture alone. They consist of several disciplines including horticulture, veterinary, sericulture, forestry, floriculture, and a number of other sub-disciplines as plantation crops, medicinal herbs, mushrooms, seed production, dairy production, agricultural and management,. A number of the department of Government of India and related agricultural employ graduates. The method of recruitment is through their respective State and Central Government. public service commissions.

Beside professional employment, agricultural graduates to compete in the national or state administrative or financial and related services. Just as many banks, insurance companies, private industries, private interests and development companies. The NGOs also use agricultural and related to graduates. Graduates have to go through employment and other new journals through Radio, Television and the two Govts central and state. also provide advertising. A large number of professional agricultural, administrative and industry following advanced courses graduation or allies are also advertised. Include business management, financial management or related disciplines in the business sector. A degree in media computers or even trade is looking for a graduate job opportunities in Govt. and private sectors. Overseas opportunities for agri-graduates are also there, however, this would have on international agriculture diploma and a driver's license, and a passport.

For graduates with a series of courses Teachers are available. Even at this date we have 1/3rd vacancies in the SAU and ICAR Institutes, ARS annual review that is conducted by scientists at Agriculture Recruitment of the Board. The recruitment of scientists and teachers Assistant is open to all M. Sc / or allies MVSC postgraduates and doctorate holders. Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with NABARD and other banks have set up Agri-Business Agriculture clinical teaching. They are courses of three months on the job training graduates of Agri-free of charge. In fact, all costs are borne by the Agri-Business School. A network of training schools have been established. We also have a dozen J & K. There is a strong future for agri-graduates in the private sector. They can establish crops, fruit tree nurseries or sale of seed production centers open. We have a number of successful agri-graduates who earn more than Rs. 20,000 / – a month in various parts of the valley. All agricultural and allied sector has a potential to generate strong employment. We identified 15 such ventures agricultural business, which can be profitable business employment. A great employment potential is hidden in fruit nursery plants and vegetables. An investment of Rs. 30,000 / – per year can give a net profit of Rs. 2 lakh per year.

Australia also provides many jobs as in Europe and USA to Indian Agri-graduates. The respective embassies or the use of Internet advertising to help many graduates Agri. More information can be had in Australia www.dookie . Uniemb.ed.am /. More personal information can have on the phone or email 0427355721 href = "mailto: saparker@uniemeb.edu.an"> saparker@uniemeb.edu.an. In the same way many websites are available worldwide and in India too. New initiatives are financed by banks Agri.biotechnologies and precision farming for organic farming.

Agricultural development for years has been the result the continuous generation of agricultural skill and its popularization. The first was the domestication of animal agriculture. For thousands of years man domesticated birds wild dogs, goats and smaller animals, which could easily dominate and subjugate their subordination. Agriculture thus since the beginning has been the results of the trails, experiments and experiences over years, first learned when behavior changes, mental occur again, the memory is through parents to their children and later through and learning to do now by sharing experiences and write or dot as a business concern.

The entrepreneurship concept

Entrepreneurship adds economic benefits and cost-benefit ratios of agricultural production. Entrepreneurship is dominated by four factors:

a. Social changes

b. Support for system availability

c. Resource base and utilization

d. Self-confidence, work capacity and power exploration intellectual.

An entrepreneur has to have one's own thinking, a capacity building interest in acquiring necessary technical. A exploratory and analytical faculties to judge how to buy cheap raw materials. He must be equipped with the "knowledge" and the mentality to use and benefit from it.

Agricultural Enterprises

A potential entrepreneurship should strive achieve peak performance. decades agricultural development and industrial settings was a time when state and state-sponsored largely but with "Knowledge explosion in Indian agriculture, we have filed the threshold of a system, long distances between industry and agribusiness. When huge subsidies are benefiting Agro-Industrial. Farmers who use fertilizers and chemicals are crushed by economic pressures. The differences between generated technology and the use of technology to farmers door is growing every day. Agricultural technology adoption rates are not that 20-30% of their possible future increases.

The use of information and communication (I & CT) to reduce the distances and increased productivity is the need of the hour (Wani, 2005). Modern technology and the flow of knowledge is expanding rapidly and effect change. It requires more educated farmers and trained. Our educational system has produced more illiterate, but young people are not educationally qualified to earn his own bread. They met after graduation in agriculture and related sectors, asking for work. The system has to be corrected for these graduates as employers and employees. I wrote a treatise in 1992, emphasizing in a system where our agriculture graduates should be employers not employees. The Germans are smart farmers school, for agricultural training institutes business, agricultural practice training centers, such as farmers and in which each farmer or livestock man is essentially a man trained. The system Banking is so organized that are in front of the convocation hall to sell its agricultural and agro-clinical packages for graduate without any investments. The banks are so smart, which reviewers have people who need veterinary or agricultural graduates or have reached the earth and the facilitation of all, for than agriculture or veterinary medicine, or even other medical graduates are used as biological investment bank. It is what is envisaged in India under agro-clinic company agribusiness. We have no training in the hands of the banks, but with the universities. There is virtually little interaction between universities or banks or employers.

The success of Agribusiness:

A link between poor and support system Govt. banking and the culture of the University has made this otherwise a remunerative and lucerative programs in failure despite her personal monitoring PMO. Bandipora district visited and unregistered Agriclinic graduate earned a salary attractive, the Rahbar-e-Agriculture zerat or Asstt. Agribusiness sales of pesticides namely animal feed, food for birds and agricultural extension services were common. In a small town Papchan, a graduate of agriculture Mr. Iqbal Shah earns Rs. 10000 / – per month by selling services and input. At a distance of several kilometers in the same district Khyatlani a man owns a large poultry farm and earns about Rs. 20 000 / – Per month. Both businesses employ 2-3 people today. Similarly, the success demonstrated by Mr. Shah, one of the Agri Malangam products and sale of pesticides and Mr. Bhat in the production of milk and dairy product sales, an attractive addition to income generating employment for the poor. All these agricultural graduates have started their own business without worrying any bank or help the university.

Farmer as an entrepreneur

Indian agriculture and the farmer has to change if the recommendation of the appropriate WTO and GATT agreements must be followed. The scenario poultry present days is becoming high-profile agriculture business in India. The conversion of poultry farmers of poultry entrepreneurs now proceed to the contribution of 6% of poultry products from India and China to 25% global market share. This, translated action to increase employment generation varieties. The introduction of rural base Vanraja, Gramapriya, Giriraja, Gold Carl and vast other locally grown varieties poultry have also been taken to our base of agro-rural. The market acceptance is higher than exotic regards poultry. Free-rang-poultry is like BT cotton hybrids spread across villages in India and ensuring high performance and exports (Wani, 2007).

Poultry and agro-business

Dr. Gordon Butland, president of the strategies for poultry presents global "backyard production of poultry," as a tool to alleviate poverty and malnutrition. We have tried to distribute "birds" under free-range systems in all our KVK, our results were excellent and income generation was very much in favor of agribusiness and agro-clinics.

All this will require the participation of Veterinary and Agri-food processing technocrats to develop rural-based facilities to promote exports and quick returns.

Holistic Vision of the Cattle Company

Improved income, employment and self-educated unemployed graduates and young women in particular needs to foster community development, empowerment of women, protection of the environment. poultry in rural base adheres to all these rules and could be a rich resource for agro-business development. Govt. of India is generously finance such agri-business. Some of the success stories in animal breeding section can be played as follows:

Yard poultry and hatching

Although Vanraja are best suited for backyard poultry, have no habit of broodiness. There is a problem among farmers for a broody hen all season. KVK resolve this problem eggs hatching by installing small farm unit. Every month 15 to 20 farmers benefit from the purchase of poultry chicks. There are 200 units of new poultry of Vanraja. Each farmer is raising 10 to 25 in the backyard. There is a good demand and response for chicks and eggs Vanraja. KVKs are planning to expand this initiative by Agri-business graduates.

Semi-stop-fed goat rearing

KVK made an intervention to improve the company by conducting short-term programs of training for rural youth. Similarly exposure visit were organized in the diet of goat, breed and health management. More emphasis was given in up gradation Osmanabadi goat-goat race in selected not Buck described by pure osmanabadi and given the knowledge of semi stallfed concept goat rearing. This experience in Andhra Pradesh shows a great potential for agro-graduates own business.

Poultry Production

A KVK has conducted training programs for 165 students. Because training and demonstrations increased awareness of contract farming in the production of broilers with the private sector offered by the chicks, feed and medicine and 40 days after buying it back. Acquired skills through hands-on learning of the demonstration unit KVK and won money. The technology has been adopted by 10 per cent of young people now in a radius of 20 km. There are 27 units with a capacity of poultry in poultry 5000-10000 contract farming basis. These people that young rural workers earn Rs 10000-15000 per lot.

A seminar and farmers meet was held SKUAST-K to 26 – 27 Oct.2007. The exchange of knowledge with farmers for agricultural science graduates and emphasized by His Excellency the Chancellor and the Governor J & K. A vision of poverty alleviation through the involvement of backyard poultry has been the subject of the seminar. Many of the belts Gurez, Tangdar, Tillail Zanskar and are the breeding of indigenous species of livestock. They are most appropriate and the need for improvement and identification. Cooking methods need more scientific expansion and intervention for export. More emphasis has to be done:

· Insurance food and feed.

¨ fodder and food.

• The operational excellence and modern mechanization to improve the quality of indigenous enterprises.

· local management of the family farm business management and decision-buyer seller mode.

This will require graduates who are farmers trained. farmer so that the future must be a graduate of farmers and the U.S., Germany, etc.

High Agri-business value

Rapid growth rate in high-value products in Indian agriculture promises 40% of total production. The assuming an important sector for export earnings are fruits, milk, vegetables and poultry. So Agriclinic training centers should focus on these training commodity oriented. The industry may need more than a young graduate of lac agricultural entrepreneurs to achieve national goals rather than the mere 14 000 agriculture of unemployed graduates.

Prospective Technological Studies

The technological gap between yields research and farmers' yields are large. Technological knowledge is more years on the shelf. Much of it has remained frozen if not dead within the walls of both institutions. The site-specific innovations, crops and soil to the practices of farmers are few. Our integrated farming and mixed practiced by our farmers, needs to recommend improvements mixed agricultural packages that are not coming forward. Our research centers that most experiments mimicked the commercial agriculture of the West with some modifications and additions even sometimes. Our traditional agriculture still existing in remote areas covering the use of manure, vormiculture and use of agricultural waste materials. The current problems of low soil fertility, reducing yields and salinity soil have emerged due to overuse of chemical inputs in agriculture with little care for the earth.

This scenario resulted in incomplete due to the innovative approaches research. Our researchers blindly advocated the increased use of fertilizers, pesticides and fungicides, which helped win the revolutions of grain, but left legacy of water pollution, air and environment with degraded soils. These revolutions excluding future livelihood. This was due to misperception.

Therefore the immediate need is similar to researchers with information technology and advanced communication. The rapid evolution of information science Quick demands awareness and accelerate the transfer of technologies, and even comments subject to farmers for rapid implementation. Productivity would be better if technological advances are adopted and their impact is known. Knowledge of hardware, software and interlinking of information dissemination channels and outlets is essential. This will consume hundreds of Agri-graduates in the media, information and communication.

Our vision

Mixed farming Culture University:

Higher productivity growth can be achieved through the application of technology and production recommendations to farmers fields. We have a 65% small and marginal farmers whose conscience potential is low. The predominant production system of these farmers is a mixed farming or breeding compound. Unlike U.S. and European agriculture is our need to increase "Crop-Livestock-fish-plant integrated production system with multiple livelihood." Therefore, we need our own innovative policies for education and training. Mixed farming Education University and configurations is our need. We are currently going astray in our need. Fast and swift and necessary to unify our educational system, involving all agriculture and allied disciplines, industries, corporate sectors, farmers.

Superior productivity concerns:

Indian agricultural year of post Pride Revolution 1968 Green was reduced imports of food and then get white, blue and other revolutions sustained our population pressure and agricultural growth. Our rate of growth of agricultural sector (AGR) must be equal, if not more to the population growth rate (PGR). AGR Our goal should be double PGR.

This is important because consumption rates, purchasing power and increase employment prospects. An estimated food grain of 210 million tonnes today may need to be doubled in the next 10 years. We need to achieve productivity goals for vertical expansion and horizontal expansion of land simply does not possible. Dr. MS Swaminathan has cited figures as 160 million tonnes of rice from 40 hac of land, thus establishing the productivity target of 4 t / h. As production sound of 100 million tonnes of wheat from 25 million tonnes of wheat from 25 million needed Hectors 4t/hac productivity. Our goal is to double your productivity by hac manpower needs more technical in extension, industry and gross root level.

The climatic disasters earthquakes, tsunamis Titanic, floods have affected our agricultural production in the past and additional requirements must be taken into account in security planning food. We need to increase spending per capita consumption of Rs.600 per month. We need to bridge the gap between potential and actual yields farmers level. The agricultural chemical hazards low soil fertility, low water availability, pollution and environmental problems impede our agricultural development. This refined technology, participatory research and education modules are necessary. The new pressures of global marketing. World trade and tariff regulations have to be accommodated. This will all need to incorporate new issues such as post-harvest management, value addition, packaging, communication, credit and market information services in our course curriculum. Thus, a new multidimensional change in the academic curriculum is provided, which can open new opportunities for agriculture and allied graduates.

Quality Guarantee

We are proud to call ourselves as the second largest Agricultural Research System (ARS) in the Second. In reviewing our performance we are not in the top ten most cited publications agriculture of the countries in the world. U.S. tops the world list with 3,62,79,842 cited publication / year with the small country like Switzerland at No. 10. The tasks of scientific research in agriculture was greater in the U.S., with 27 publications lac / year, followed Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Canada, Italy, Russia, China and Australia. Our contribution to the publication Agriculture is our only 5.48% part of the citation in the 2.32%. This requires greater attention to quality assurance. Our primary agenda should be quality of education Agriultural. Our emphasis has on:

The academic quality, accreditation, unwanted knowledge, assessment skills and academic skills development and auditing. Quality assurance, through the strengthening of resources, information and maintenance of educational infrastructure. So the subsidies need to regulate and Centre-state relations in a rational way. This will bring golden opportunities for our graduates across borders.

Jobs

We have been 36 or course, and central agricultural universities and 20 general universalities 48 agricultural faculties. The disciplines may require total subsidies strengthened in five years by a core grant for each discipline of quality assurance. Graduate produce 10,000 graduates in 5500 and 1600 post doctorate in agriculture all years. They add to the pool without employment. To make them self employed in new enterprises and employment growth, development of competition in the global economy and policies commercial. Biotechnology, bioinformatics, bio-fertilizers, pesticides and fungicides, etc. are improved. The development of new teachers in all universities and colleges will run over the next five years. Such as:

Pest information and survey; Analysis Risk Management system to aid decision geographical information system. A new level of confidence is to be given to curriculum integrates field practice in a partnership mode with farmers. A teacher-student-farmer-industry interaction and cooperation will develop. A new mechanical model in Agriculture and Allied curriculum will be integrated, unified and well tuned to the final results. This calls for inter-and intra harmony and synchronized School curricula at UG, PG and PhD level. This must be well aware of our needs and guidelines on the ground locations and employment opportunities will be the end result.

Education Asia Agricultural Specific

Indian economy is an economy that supports agro-center 70% of our population live on rural employment. Forty five percent of the revenue generated by the industries coming from Agri-based (Agro) Industries. Therefore, a vast resource potential and hides in it. If we think specifically Asia agriculture, we have to play an important role in the region that possesses 60% of the world population. The region is rich in energy and oil resources and millennium buzzword pensioners is open and common market, with emphasis on peace, confidence and trust. Up-Liftman in the region who need training education and human resource utilization. Therefore educational reforms are agriculture on our door steps in order to reap the benefits of common economy in the Asia and the SARC total. These educational reforms must involve schools, colleges and universities. The reshaping of the curriculum will be necessary to incorporate of a new era emerging as the global marketing competitive climate catastrophe,, use of technology, restrictions, sustainability, environment, conservation of water resources, the correction factors, etc.

Agri-education reforms are necessary to ensure that USDA ICAR parallel, government grant aid to agriculture as a whole. An act omnibuss of agriculture in the form of U.S. farm bill 1996 is envisioned. The new education policies was written non-discriminatory, comprehensive, transparent and accountable. This opens a path to total employment in Asia for Agriculture and allied graduates.

Access to Education and Training:

Access to education and training to people below the poverty line, young and rural women is to be ensured. This will have a total restructured the education infrastructure. A tire model three is expected to consist of:

1. At work, training opportunities in agricultural mechanization and agriculture.

2. Training in skills, up-gradation and rural focus at university level, refinement and innovative way of participating in the farmers field. Roaming taught school holidays system and Sundays.

3. Teacher-student-farmer-industry-interaction-job learning and brushed-yo, living with farmers. This will ensure training improving quality and use of skilled labor for use in developing Asia Market Agri. The use of Rehbar-e-Zerat in this Agri-service paid to farmers will provide work and money.

Informal-flexible Agriculture Information Services

A flexible curriculum models to be have many options at level B. Sc as:

1. Natural sciences

. Agri Science 2

– Production System

- Agribusiness

- Social Sciences

3. International Agriculture

4. Natural Resources

5. Agribusiness Management

6. Biological Engineering

7. Dietetrics

8. Landscape Architecture

These inclusions in B. Sc and Post Graduate level will contribute to graduate employment.

Agri Export Orientation, education and employment:

In the current era of biosecurity, phytosanitary and animal health has become a key awful. The education and knowledge was safe and secure possession in the past. Is not true. Exporting requires knowledge and new inventions need patent. Web design and web design have become masters unknown invisible to students. The student-teacher ratio has risen to spiritual horizons. New goals for the future of education planning and policies need to have more information and communication. Therefore R & C courses with computer applications is due. These have strengthened in the SAU and ICAR institutions in recent years. However, total connectivity is needed with farmers, agricultural organizations and departments the use of reaping the benefits of technological reforms to increase our exports. Despite the classification I in the production of milk for our exports are scarce. This is due to the bad-zoo-sanitary and global lobiest are critical of our disease free status. Therefore, policies and programs targeting agro-export and training to our agro-vet. And allied graduates is a necessity. The formation of these graduates in business, media, import and export business, industry and related companies as sales agrobased fertilizer, pesticides, seeds, etc. is needed.
