Adobe won’t let me download Flash player with new Dell Computer running Vista?

We just got a new computer from Dell, it’s pretty badass, running Vista and such. Now, we can’t watch Youtube videos or listen to songs on Myspace without Flash Player. And when I tried to download Flash Player 10 from Adobe’s site, it says that we can’t run it on a 64-bit computer. What the hell is this? This makes no sense. Is there a way we can actually get Flash Player or the like? They don’t offer any of the previous versions for download, just archived ones for people who tweak them.

I’m using a 64bit and I have Adobe flash player. Download the file then save it then close your browser and go to your Desk top and install it. If that don’t work go to Youtube and you can install Adobe from there. Trying installing Sun Java as well it might help.

I’m so stupid. I just remembered, Adobe Flash player will not run on a 64 bit system using a 64 bit browser like IE. you have to install a 32 bit browser like Firefox then you can run Adobe.
