Screen
The 15.4-inch widescreen for the Inspiron 1525 features LCD Panel screen and  WXGA widescreen (1280 x 800) resolution, with TFT active matrix glossy screen and 30 pin data connector .But the  flaw of dell 1525 is the lack of higher resolutions on the surface, From straight on, maybe the screen looks flawless, but changes the horizontal viewing  and vertical viewing angles are rather good.

Design and Build Quality
Dell have always had a very good reputation for their netbooks design and build quality, and it was one of the most impressive aspects of the inspiron 1525.The Inspiron 1525 designed with smaller and slimmer, the weight is very light .There are seven different colors(Black, blue, brown, green, pink, red and yellow, etc.) to choose special for dell inspiron 1525,and the 1525 offers four new patterns. In addition, there are two headphone jacks on the notebook’s front edge, which you can share music soundtracks with other people. Building a microphone input and an 8-in-1 card reader on the front edge. On the left side, ther are two USB ports, a VGA connector, a FireWire port, and modem and Ethernet jacks. There’s also an HDMI port for connecting to external audio and video components with a single cable. On the right side, there is an 8X dual-layer DVD burner, an expresscard slot, two additional USB ports, and an S-Video jack.

Keyboard and Touchpad
Dell Inspiron 1525 keyboard is very firm, and the key surface friction coefficient just right, the key process control very well, no stiff feeling. Designed with comfortable and well spaced, the touchpad surface utilizes the new design that is integrated with the palm rest surface. The upper portion keyboard contains a set of low-powered speakers that lacked bass response, additional a power switch and a nice soft-touch media control bar for adjusting volume and controlling CD/DVD playback.

Performance and Benchmarks
Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop was equipped A 2-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 processor, 2GB of memory, and a 120GB hard drive spinning at 5,400 rpm combined to deliver an impressive PCMark05 score of 4,197, the highest in the roundup. If you try to retouch pictures, e.g. with Photoshop, it could be more powerful. However, this does not belong to the typical fields of operation of starter laptops.
The Dell Inspiron 1525′s benchmark results of  are special for this laptop category. In the PCMark05 benchmark, it reached good 3600 points, and the Cinebench R10 result was only 3069 points. As the integrated video solution by Intel, the 3DMark benchmarks weren’t very good. The newest of this series of benchmarks resulted in 536 points, which proves that current demanding computer games are not the intended field of operation of the Intel GMA X3100. Nearly 10 fps in Doom 3 also support the moderate performance regarding up-to-date games.

Battery Life
The 6 cells battery of dell Inspiron 1525 has a power output of 56 Wh. Depending on the load this is sufficient for one and a half to about four and a half hours unplugged work. Besides the load also the brightness of the display has a big impact on the battery runtime. With Vista’s power management running in “high performance” mode, screen brightness set to maximum and wireless on, the 6-cell battery delivered 2 hours and 53 minutes of battery life.In practice, i.e., running Office applications the battery had to be recharged after about three hours. Dell also offers a 85 Wh battery, which should enhance the battery runtime, for a low surcharge.

Conclusions
On the whole, the Dell Inspiron 1525 is an perfect laptop with good looks and solid performance. As the lack of graphics options, so not suitable for playing games for inspiron 1525.
