Laptop Webcam question?

I have an asus laptop mini. i am not sure what computer it is exactly, but yeah. i am using the ecam. i think the computer is called EeePC
i have the volume on it cuz im recording a video, but after i record, when i am listening to it, the volume sounds like it’s lower than how it actually was. like, the pitch of my voice sounds lower than the way i recorded it. is this a normal problem and is there a solution?

I think this should help if you are using windows:
1) Click the start menu
2) Click Control Panel
3) Look for something name like “Audio and sound devices”
4) Click it
5) Click the Audio tab
6) Look for where it says sound recording
7) Click Volume
Turn it do desired level
