I have a Dell 2208WFP monitor portrait, but need help with making the display can be seen in vertical?
So I just got a new 22 "Dell 2208WFP monitor, and can turn the display completely sideways. I was wondering if anyone knew how to make objects on the screen can be rotated as simply rotate the screen or vertical mode switch once completely broken? This is what the monitor looks like this: http://planetimagehost.com/images/51046_dell_2208WFP.jpg http://image.ebuyer.com/UK/R0139586-01.jpg http://i.dell.com/images/ap / products/monitor/monitor_2208wfp_219x408.jpg Here is some information on it: http://computers.pricegrabber.com/flat-panel-lcd-monitors/m/59149079/ http://reviews.dell.com/2341/320-6107/reviews.htm Thanks!
Just because physically turn the monitor does not mean that Windows will automatically understand what to do. You have to say how in the display properties. The monitor shows what is sent by the card. The video drivers will have to tell the video card displaying the image correctly. For example, the nVidia (or ATI) control panel of the driver will have its own tab in the display properties. Look around in there to "control the rotation" You must find an environment that will allow you to change the way the screen is rotated (90, 180, 270 degrees).
